London Conference
5-6 Dec 2005, London

Background and purpose

The aim of the 2nd annual SOLUTIONS conference was to present the work in progress on the research project.

The sessions on the first day of the Conference covered topics of interest to policy-makers, practitioners, and academics and researchers in the area of land use and transport planning, neighbourhood design, and assessment. Sessions on the second day covered topics of interest to academics and researchers interested in the theory of urban form and techniques of micro-scale modelling of land use and transport. Experts were invited to comment on SOLUTIONS work and to share their knowledge from an international perspective.
